The New Activist 001 : Eugene Cho

On this inaugural show we learn from a daring, innovative, and wise pastor - Eugene Cho. He'll share his definition of activism, give us perspective from around the globe, and bravely reflect on the cost of doing work that matters.

The New Activist is presented by International Justice Mission. IJM is working to end slavery in our lifetime and won't stop - until all are free. Kindly go here to become a Freedom Partner.

Eugene Cho is the lead pastor of Quest Church in Seattle. Quest is a multi-cultural, multi-generational, and wonderfully forward thinking congregation.
Additionally, he is the founder and visionary of One Day's Wages, a grass roots movement of people, stories, and actions that all come together to alleviate extreme global poverty.
His first (and fantastic) book is titled Overrated: Are We More in Love with the Idea of Changing the World Than Actually Changing the World?

Whether it’s marching, speaking, or literally coming alongside someone - we’re asking the question, “What are some of the necessary steps we need to make to move this needle...”
